One of my favorite places in Atlanta to come back to again and again and again. The charred octopus is great. Hopefully they never take it off the menu again. The house-made beers are always worth trying. The seasonally-changing vegetable plate is usually a good bet for something interesting. The burger is one of the better ones in Atlanta where there is quite a bit of competition for top prize. Also has one of the best whiskey selections in town if that's something you care about, and they're all reasonably-priced to boot.
The food was excellent. Best meal I've had in some time. Beautifully restored building. Was disappointed that I could not get a glass of Merlot or a red blend. Was also surprised that the bar did not have a coconut rum. The watermelon drink was awesome as a substitute. Will definitely go back.
Service was acceptable. Limited parking spaces in the lot. The place is beautiful. Would love to try the food there next time. I liked most of the beers there, I went out on a limb and tried the wild beer which was brett in a porter. I thought to myself, should dark beers be wild? The answer is no. Would go back.
Amazing your flights that let you experience the broad range of what they put together, as well as excellent tasting appetizers and amazing main courses. The scallops were to die for but they're not enough to share- not that I wanted to. They were good enough to eat all of them myself.
