Amazing food. Great choices for all kind of diets. Drinks are good. Desserts are ...YUM! Service is cool. We go a few times a year to enjoy their food and ambiance.

Friendly staff, fun decor and music, and tasty food! Great vegan and gluten free options, too. I ordered a vegan salad, fried okra, and vegan street pancakes. The salad had a refreshing cumin and lime dressing, the okra was crispy and seasoned well, and the pancakes were pretty good, but the spicy and flavorful soup that came with it really pulled the dish together. We'll definitely be back!

Went here with coworkers, everyone ate while I watched. They forgot to prepare my order. :-(But they were so kind and apologetic. They even gave me a gift card for the amount spent on lunch. (Back on track - right?) By the time my food arrived, it was time to head back to the office. So I happily carried by lunch back to the office and began it ravish it immediately on arrival. The thrill was short-lived, very short lived. I ordered my sandwich without egg. In the middle of my sandwich was a runny egg with yoke that squished out on all the sandwich contents, making it inedible for me.

The food is absolutely incredible here with a great atmosphere, friendly service, and very reasonable prices. The chicken in every dish is tender and the vegetarian components are bursting with flavor. I want to return and try everything on the menu, check out the bar, and relax in the cool ambience.

Chai Pani in Downtown Decatur is another shining example of why Atlanta's charm makes it one of the most fun cities to explore. Hidden in half of a small building, the restaurant packs you into a romantic hole and allows you to take in the colors and bustle that you may find in India. You can tell the owners were inspired by their experience in India's busy streets as they capture it as Wes Anderson would. The menu itself is pricey and the service is slow, but these complaints aside, Chai Pani Decatur captures what makes Indian street food so fun. Small plates you share with loved ones or friends while surrounded with stimuli. If you have some cash to spend and want to have a fun experience, check it out. Come early as the line starts as soon as they open.
