They validate parking up to 2hrs! The atmosphere here never gets old. It is a timeless, unique experience to simply walk through the door. I made a visit on Sunday evening for a casual business meeting. There was plenty of room for immediate seating. The wine and coffee selections seem to be endless, I love a variety! I ordered the chicken salad sandwich, which I really enjoyed. The wine was tasty and the prices were to be expected. Our waiter however was not very knowledgeable about the menu options, yet was very accommodating. The chocolate cake was very dry and bland. But fair food experience over all.
Beautiful ambience and really good service. The cheesecakes and cakes are other-worldly!There's nothing spectacular about the food as such. Interesting beverages but I highly recommend trying the cakes and coffee Intermezzo has to offer.
Sometimes it's great, sometimes it's awful, no in between. Usually, when my boyfriend and I go, we have a lovely time. Once, though, we were seated for nearly 30 minutes without seeing a waiter. We went to the hostess and said, "I haven't been served by anywhere here, so we're leaving." And she just... stared at us. Didn't say a word. It was so strange, so awkward, the total stranger who was waiting behind us remarked, "Wow..." I hope that person had a better experience that day then we did!edit: Also, on two separate occasions I've drank the tap water and it straight up tasted like dirt. The other person I was with didn't have dirty water, so I assume the glass was so filthy it gave my water the flavor of soil.
I like this place mainly because of its well designed, seemingly well thought out hip interiors. I still recall that black huge chandelier hanging somewhere. We were here just for desserts and more drinks after coming from another place. This place has got vibes of a bar but it's not exactly just a bar as it's way too big for a typical one. Good, helpful service. I will be back the next time I am in Atlanta.
I keep coming back! For lattes and cheesecake, this place never disappoints. I love the ambience here! The old European decor is so romantic and I always love the classical music selection. It is a bit pricey for just coffee and dessert but it's worth a treat from time to time. It is a must try!
