I made a mistake ordering on the app. When I arrived to pick my order up, I realized I ordered the wrong pizza. The cashier behind the register was very helpful. Her name was Nikki and she got a remake made for me even though I made the mistake. She was very understanding and gave great customer service. A lot of places would have been rude and made me pay for another pizza since I made the mistake.
I ordered a delivery online at 9:30. This store always takes a long time to deliver, and the delivery time said it might take over an hour (even though I live 0.9 miles away), but that was fine, I was in no hurry. But now it's after 11:30 and I called the store for a status update since they close at midnight. The guy on the phone told me I did not order, and that they have not been taking delivery orders all night (contrary to the attached picture) and that if I did order a delivery, they canceled it. But the pizza hut site still says my order is being prepared, even when I refresh it--see the attached screenshot. When I told him that my card has been charged, he told me I was wrong (my bank disagrees, but we'll sort that out tomorrow, I guess). He said I could come to the store to pick up a carryout if I placed another order, but I'm not about to do that when I've still got a pending charge already on my card. Plus it's now 11:30 at night and I have work in the morning. This store is usually fine for carryout, but you are taking a gamble if you order delivery from them. Really just the worst I've ever seen. I mean I've had deliveries not show up before from other restaurants, and I get it, stuff happens. But at another place they'd let me know my order was canceled or give me a coupon or something instead of just pretending that I never ordered.
The Pizza was a little bit overdone but still tasty. As far as food in this area there are a couple of local pizza chains that might slightly improve the quality or rhw the variety but there is very little chance they will undercut the bargain. I would avoid their new crazy crust of the month and stick with their classic deep dish. Can't go wrong there.
Made an order online for two of my best customers and charge it to my Credit Card, an hour and a half later (when the two pizza order was ready), they tried to make my customer pay for this gift. Imagine the shame when my best paying cx called me to ask why he had to pay for this surprise lunch that my company was sending to them. Tried calling to the store and after 3 tries and 5 minutes on hold, I was told basically nothing.
